Personalized news feeds, AI-based investigative reporting, and automated article generation are but a few ways that artificial intelligence, algorithms and automated systems are transforming the news industry. Combining my programming and system design skills with my professional experience gained during almost two decades of working in the media journalism industry, my research examines how these computational systems shape how journalism is both created and consumed.
